On Transformer, you keep 80% of every sponsorship payout. The brand pays before you post, the payment is held, and your share is credited to your balance as soon as your post is verified on X. You add a PayPal email or a USDC address (Solana or Base) and request a payout from $10; you're paid by PayPal or USDC, usually within 3 business days.
How much do I earn?
The offer shows two numbers: what the brand pays, and what you earn. You earn 80%; Transformer keeps 20%. There are no sign-up fees or subscriptions for creators.
| Brand pays | You earn |
|---|---|
| $50 | $40 |
| $125 | $100 |
| $250 | $200 |
| $625 | $500 |
If the offer includes a commission on sales, you earn 80% of that too, credited for each sale the brand reports through your tracked link.
How do I know the brand will pay?
After you accept, the brand has 72 hours to pay. You post only once it has paid, and the offer shows the payment is held by Transformer. It's released to you by an objective check, not by the brand's say-so: your post is live on X, from your account, with the offer's link and X's Paid partnership label turned on. See How Transformer works.
Step by step
- Sign in with X. Transformer asks only for read access. It can't post for you, doesn't read your DMs and doesn't keep long-lived tokens.
- Accept an offer. You get the link to include in your post.
- Post on X yourself, in your own words, with the link, and turn on X's Paid partnership label (in the composer under Content disclosure). Adding #ad as well is optional.
- Submit the post URL. Verification usually takes seconds.
- Get credited. Your 80% moves to your available balance.
- Add PayPal or a USDC address and request a payout of $10 or more.
How are payouts sent?
By PayPal or USDC (on Solana or Base). Add your PayPal email or a USDC address in your payout settings, then request a payout; you're usually paid within 3 business days, and the platform pays the transfer fees. Until you request, your earnings stay safely in your Transformer balance. The minimum payout is $10, and you can request some or all of your available balance.
When is my money credited?
The moment your post is verified, your 80% moves to your available balance, and you can see it there.
Do I need a tax form?
Once the payouts you receive in a calendar year reach the threshold, you need a tax form on file before the next payout: a W-9 if you're a US person, a W-8BEN if you're not. You can fill it in on Transformer in a couple of minutes, signed with your typed name. Until you reach the threshold, no form is needed.
Can my agent handle this?
Yes. With a creator workspace key, an agent can check your balance (get_balance), list earnings, and request payouts over MCP, the CLI or REST. It can't post for you.
